Running into a strong -1.9 wind Melissa Breen made a successful start to her major domestic season competition schedule at the Hunter Classic.

Melissa ran 11.82 to edge out the local favourite and strong headwind runner Laura Whaler and an exciting finish.

Melissa and Laura teamed up with Crystal Attenborough and Jessica Knox to also take victory in the Women’s 4 x 100m in a time of 45.71.
